A few areas of interest in Hamilton.

The Rust Pits: A name given to the area which used to be occupied by a steel company called Stelco. Driven out of business when Dofasco designed its new formula, the company left behind a vast tract of abandoned warehouses, storehouses and production facilities. This area covers many square miles, and is now home to the city's less desireable elements - winos, prostitutes, drug dealers, and the insane tend to congregate here. The Hamilton police force rarely enters the Rust Pits, and then only when the need is great.

Dofasco: Owned by shareholders, the company is run by C.E.O. Randolph Camarin. Randolph is a 7th Generatin Toreador who gets along well with Princess Geeta. Randolph is terrfied of the Sabbat, and dreads industrial espionage. Should Dofasco lose this secret, it would then lose its place in the world market, and would again fall by the wayside. Randolph believes that Gandar is sure to try to steal his secret techniques, and guards against any industrial espionage that might be attempted. He leaves the physical defense of the city to Geeta.

Ancaster: An upper class bedroom community, Ancaster is home to many of Hamilton's richest and most influential members. There are a few Toreador living here, including Dofasco C.E.O. Randolph Camarin. Any violence in this area meets with swift and brutal police action.

Downtown Core: Also known in town as the "Tarnished Anus", or more simply, the Anus, Hamilton's downtown core has long since fallen apart. The city has moved its business and government centers into Dundas, and the majority of the downtown shops moved along with them. All that remains are decaying buildings and burned-down structures. The few businesses which remain cater to Hamilton's seedier side - adult movie houses, extraordinarily rough bars, drug dealers and prostitution are the Anus' biggest businesses now.

The Mountain: Hamilton is bisected by an escarpment (a huge, long, cliff-type thingy - go on, get a dictionary!) which runs east-west along its entire length (the escarpment is tens of miles long). The area on top of the escarpment (which the locals refer to simply as "the Mountain") is over 400 ft. higher than the rest of the city. Access to the Mountain has been strictly controlled, and is now home to the upper-middle and upper class sections of society. All access routes (there are about ten) are strongly guarded, and only those who belong on the Mountain are allowed on the Mountain.

The Gardens: Dofasco has purchased a huge section of the Mountain (between Upper Ottawa and Upper Sherman and Mohawk Road and Concession) and have created an area called the Gardens. The Gardens are home to Dofasco's upper and middle management-types. The area is walled, and patrolled regularly by security guards (who are referred to as Steel Shields).

Stoney Creek: With its high proportion of people of Italian descent, Stoney Creek (nick-named "Tony Creek") has long been controlled by the Mafia. Hamilton's city government recognizes this control, if unofficially, and rarely tries to interfere in the running of this suburb. The cappo of the Stoney Creek Mafia is Don Roberto Bartoli - he also happens to be one of the Kindred.
